(8-12-24) Friday morning at 7:05 am Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an area of Willshire Eastern Road in Willshire Township for a motor vehicle crash(a 2012 Ford F250 ) driven by Chase Matthew Stanler of Berne Indiana.

Stanler was traveling east bound on Willshire Eastern Road near Clayton Road when he crossed the opposite lane of travel and drove off the left side of the roadway and hit a utility pole. Stanler then corrected his vehicle back onto the roadway and came to rest and his airbags deployed causing disabling damage. Neither of the passengers were injured.
