(8-6-24) Maxwell Gottschalk (20) of Wapakoneta was arrested by the Celina Police Department after an incident that took place on Friday at his mother’s residence in Celina.

Gottschalk allegedly assaulted his mother and another person at a residence in Celina this past Friday. The complaint accuses Gottschalk of stabbing a victim with a fork and punching another victim.

Gottschalk is being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center on a 2nd degree felony of felonious assault, 1st degree misdemeanor of assault and a 1st degree domestic violence charge and is being held on a $800,000 cash bond.

He is due to appear in Mercer County Common Pleas Court this Friday at 2:45 pm.
