(8-1-24) Fred W. Miller Jr. (61) Pennville driving a 2018 Ford F-150 struck a Jay County owned piece of equipment on County Road 750 West near County Road 400 North around 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

Harley W. Geesaman Jr., (60) was driving a 2018 Western Star 4700 dump truck south on the road while working on the vehicle, When Miller drove by Geesaman, his tire hit the vehicle’s plow.
Miller’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene towed.

The dump truck Geesaman was driving is registered to thr Jay County Commissioners.

The Jay County Sheriff ’s Office was at the scene of the incident.
