(7-29-24) Scott Alan Austin (58) of Wapakoneta is being held in the Auglaize County Jail without bond on felony charges of 3rd degree unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of 5th degree importuning.

The victim in the case was under the age of 15 and the alleged offenses occured on November 28th of 2023.

He was indicted on May 31st a warrant was issued and he was served by the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office on July 26th.

A date of Austin’s initial court appearance is pending and has not yet been set in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court.
