(7-24-24) Life T. Farley (20) of Portland pleaded guilty to a lesser charge on Friday in Jay Circuit Court to a level 4 felony of criminal confinement with moderate bodily injury. The original charge was a Level 3 felony.

A level 5 felony rape charge was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

Two other charges were also dismissed… a level 5 felony of domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury and a level 6 felony for domestic battery committed in the presence of a child younger than 16 years old.

Farley’s jury trial was scheduled to start on August 12…his sentencing will be held on August 14th at 3:30 pm.
