JAY COUNTY, Ind. (7-23-24) – INDOT announces the closure of U.S. 27 north of Bryant for bridge construction.

Starting on or after July 29, crews will be working on the bridge between E 800 N and County Line Road. Work is expected to last for approximately two weeks. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.

During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of State Road 18, State Road 1 and State Road 218, or seek an alternate route.

INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
