(7-9-24) The Democratic Party has been at odds with each other since the recent debate between President Biden and President Trump took place.

On the national level Democrat House Representatives and Senators have had different opinions on the President’s status as the nominee.

Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.)

“Any ‘leader’ calling for President Biden to drop out needs to get their priorities straight and stop undermining this incredible actual leader who has delivered real results for our country. And when you contrast that with a dangerous figure like Donald Trump pushing a radical agenda to be dictator on day one and destroy our democracy, we must do everything in our power to defeat him; Joe Biden and Kamala Harris is the ticket to do just that.”

Several House Democrats would like to see Biden step -down.

Mike Quigley of Illinois: Quigley said on MSNBC on July 5-

“Mr. President, your legacy is set. We owe you the greatest debt of gratitude. The only thing that you can do now to cement that for all time and prevent utter catastrophe is to step down and let someone else do this.”

In the stateline area three local Democratic County Party Chairman are in support of the President remaining in the race—

Mercer County Democratic Party Chair Sophia Rodriguez –

“Like President Joe Biden, I strongly believe that we are a nation built on honesty and decency. I remain unwavering in my support of President Biden and am committed to helping him defeat Donald Trump in November.”

Recently the Auglaize County Democratic Party was asked by local media to comment about the “Biden Situation” The following is their official response.

“Biden situation”? President Biden’s track record speaks for itself. 15.6 million jobs created while lowering inflation, reducing Healthcare costs, reducing education costs, and reducing Trumps deficit and debt. (6.2 million jobs were not “bounce back jobs”). Job growth in Biden’s first three years outperformed any previous president. Biden and Democrats brought millions of dollars to infrastructure jobs in districts all over the country despite the fact that Republicans voted against it, but are now bragging about it’s benefits to their constituents.

Without any initial Republican support, Biden and Democrats created pathways to help Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange and other toxins using the Pact Act. Biden and Democrats support workers, unions, and proudly stand by UAW rank and file pay increases which have created ripple effects causing pay raises throughout the non union auto industry nationwide. Biden supports IVF, and women’s Reproductive Healthcare rights. More people are insured than ever before, thanks to Biden’s support of Obamacare.

The rapid disinflation under Biden is unmatched in modern history. Violent crimes, especially homicides, have fallen. Biden and Democrats have invested in small farms and industry making it easier for family farms to compete globally. A poor debate night does not negate the accomplishments of Biden and Democrats over the last 3 years.

Why isn’t the media asking about the “Trump situation”? Twice impeached, convicted felon, former President Trump has been proven in court to be a fraudster and a sexual predator, yet we aren’t hearing demands from media for his removal from candidacy. Why?

Shelby County Democratic Party Chair Chris Gibbs

Allen County Democratic Party Chair Rochelle Twining told The Lima News on Monday—

“I think that we all come down on the side not just of supporting Joe Biden but understanding the practicality of changing candidates at this point. So, we’re all in this fight with Joe, and I think in a strange way it actually fires us up, because we feel like he’s being picked on and he shouldn’t be because of what he’s accomplished for our country.”
