(7-9-24) Michael Salyer (24) Celina is being held at the Mercer County Adult Detention Center with no bond and is waiting for a Mercer County Common Pleas hearing on July 15th for a motion of judicial release.

In September of 2018 he was indicted on a rape charge…but after a plea deal was convicted of a lower charge of sexual battery.

He was recently transported back to Mercer County from the Belmont Correctional Institution in St. Clairsville for the upcoming hearing.
