(7-1-24) Friday night at 9:15 pm Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Middle Point Fire and EMS responded to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Washington Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
Kashionna Sanders of Van Wert was driving a gray Nissan Kicks and was traveling East Bound on U.S. 30 near Middle Point Wetzel Rd. when a deer ran in front of the vehicle and causing disabling damage to the vehicle.
Sanders was transported to Van Wert Health by Middle Point EMS for a possible serious injury. Two occupants were also transported to Van Wert Health by Middle Point EMS for possible injury.
No details on the deer’s condition.
