(6-29-24) On Saturday June 29″ at 3:00 am the Celina Fire Departmentt responded to a structure fire at 5366 State Route 29 just outside of Celina.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke pushing from a 40×60 pole barn. They made entry and were able to get water on the fire quickly. The cause is undetermined at this time, but no foul play is suspected.

The property was insured, and the estimated loss is $70,000.

No one was injured and about 20 firefighters were on scene. Assisting at the fire was Coldwater Fire, Montezuma Fire Department, Celina Police Department, Celina Electric Utilities, Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies and MCERV.
