(5-14-24) Allen County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched shortly before 1:30 p.m. Monday to the 1800 block of Lennox Avenue in response to a reported stabbing.
When deputies arrived, the victim was en route to the hospital, but a physical description of the suspect was obtained. A brief manhunt ensued, and a short time later Anthoney Zeisloft (19) was taken into custody by sheriff’s office deputies and detectives.
The incident is believed to have started as a domestic dispute and remains under investigation.
Zeisloft was treated for minor injuries he suffered in the altercation and was jailed on a preliminary felony charge of felonious assault victim seriously hurt.
The victim of the alleged attack had been stabbed in the head and neck area and was treated and released from a local hospital.
