(4-21-24) This past week Project architect Garmann Miller presented to the Celina Planning commission site designs for the new Celina Middle/High School…they were approved. Peterson Construction will be in charge of the project.

The new building is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2026 or during the winter of 2027, with the existing high school being demolished in the spring of 2027.

Also a part of the change…

  • the current middle school will house Head Start and district offices that will be relocated from the Administration building… plus school athletic storage
  • CAPT building will remain
  • former Tri Star section of the high school will be used for new athletic facilities
