(4-15-24) The Celina Police Department yesterday arrested John Deaton (49) Celina on two drug related charges after a traffic stop. Deaton was not the driver of the vehicle that was stopped, the driver was cited for stop sign violation.
Assisting in the arrest was K9 Peng during the vehicle search.
Deaton is presently being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
His next hearing has not been scheduled in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
