(4-14-24) The 2024 Eclipse Festival at the Mercer County Fairgrounds will be long remembered. During the event the Bear Hollow Wood Carvers built a giant ‘Sasquatch‘.

Since that time visitors have come to the Fairgrounds…including numerous media outlets.
The Bear Hollow team for the build included: Jason Emmons, Ken Tynan, Andrew Mallon, Joseph Stebbing, Ethan Emmons, Roark Phillips, Bubba Daniel, Lucas Pennington, and Ken Braun and Cindy Emmons and Terrie Phillips
A contest to give the “Giant” an official name is being planned.
