(4-10-24) — The Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC) today served search warrants on three locations as part of an illegal gambling investigation. OCCC Gaming Agents launched an investigation after receiving complaints the businesses were operating machines in violation of Ohio law.

“Illegal casinos operate without proper oversight and prey upon vulnerable Ohioans. We appreciate the assistance of our local law enforcement partners in holding accountable those who disregard Ohio’s gambling laws.”

Warrants were served at the following locations:

  • Grand Luck Gaming in St. Marys.
  • Lucky 7 in Wapakoneta.
  • Moon City Gaming in Wapakoneta.

The St. Marys and Wapakoneta Police Departments assisted in today’s operation, in which gaming equipment, cash and documents were seized. No arrests were made, and the investigation is ongoing.

The Ohio Casino Contro! Commission is the regulatory body with oversight of the state’s four casinos, skill-based amusement machines, fantasy contests and sports gaming. It has the responsibility to ensure the integrity of gaming by licensing, regulating, investigating and enforcing state laws.
