(4-9-24) Last night at 6:29 pm Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Ohio City Fire and EMS and Van Wert EMS responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Ball Road in Ohio City.

Kody Nicholas Detwiler (34) of Ohio City was on a 2003 Polaris Predator 500 All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and was traveling southbound on Ball Road near Snyder Road when he lost control of the vehicle and was ejected.

Detwiler was flown by Lutheran Air made a scene and was transported to Lutheran Hospital.
