(4-2-24) The Our Lady of Fatima 20-foot-tall fiberglass statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary , which was lost during the Indian Lake EF-3 tornado on March 14th, has been found by a local volunteer dive team at the bottom of Indian Lake approximately 150 feet off shore.

The shrine is located on Chase Avenue in Russells Point, in the area of Orchard Island. The property is now closed to the public during construction.

Built in 1964, the statue was nearly 60-years old. The fiberglass statue was broken into many pieces by the tornado and plans call for a new one to be built.
