(3-13-24) Once again Mercer County had Ohio’s lowest unemployment rate in Janaury at 2.5%. Auglaize County and Holmes County had the next lowest jobless rates last month at 2.9 % and 2.8% .


Highest January unemployment rates included Meigs County’s jobless rate at 7.8 % followed by Ottawa County 7.6% …with both Monroe and Adams County at 7.3%.

From December of last year to January, unemployment rates increased in all 88 Ohio counties counties.
