(3-7-24) Life T. Farley (20) was charged on February 26th in Jay Circuit Court with a Level 1 felony for rape when compelled by force or imminent threat of force resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 3 felony for criminal confinement resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 5 felony for domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury and a Level 6 felony for domestic battery committed in the presence of a child younger than 16 years old.

In Indiana ggravated rape is a Level 1 felony, punishable by 20 to 40 years’ imprisonment and a fine of up to $10,000.

He’s being held on a $75,000 bond at the Jay County Jail.
