(2-27-24) This Saturday (March 2nd), two new businesses in the Village of Ohio City will be having their Grand Openings. The first business, Pierce Bookkeeping and Bookstore will be having their grand opening at 10:00 AM.

Pierce Bookkeeping has offered decades of bookkeeping and tax preparations and now also offers a bookstore. They are excited to open up their new location at 501 W. Jefferson St. in the Village. Their regular hours are Tuesday-Friday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. They will be having a grand opening special for their books. All $0.50 books are three for a dollar, all $1.00 books are six for five, and all $2.00 books are three for five. 

Danny’s Bar & Grill – OC will also be having their Grand Opening on Saturday. There will be a ribbon-cutting at 11:00 AM. Danny’s is a restaurant style Bar and Grill that offers weekday specials, entertainment, and a full menu. This is the family’s Second business, also owning Danny’s Bar and Grill in Middle Point. Danny’s (In Ohio City) regular hours are Monday to Wednesday 11:00 Am – 11:00 PM,  Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 11:00 AM to 2:30 AM, and they are closed on Sunday. Danny’s will be offering drink specials all day, door prizes, and a 50/50 drawing with the proceeds going to children activities at Lambert Days. They will also offer entertainment from local band: “The Breaks” from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
