(2-26-24) The Celina FFA celebrated National FFA Week February 19-23rd. The week was filled with fun themes and activities each day! We raised money to donate to Dayton Children’s Hospital throughout the week!
On Tuesday, the theme was Twin Day and also Hat Day. The Celina FFA members also hosted a teacher lunch to show their appreciation for all the teachers in the building. The St. Marys FFA students delivered a banner for the Celina FFA on Tuesday!
On Wednesday, the themes were bling vs camo and hat day! Two of the state officers for Ohio FFA came to visit the Celina FFA and taught them how to make dog toys out of old t shirts.
On Thursday, the theme was Anything But a Backpack, Red, White, and Blue, Hat Day, and Drive Your Truck to School Day. The students had a lot of fun finding things to use as a backpack. Several awards were given to those who participated by driving their truck to school.
The Celina FFA also held their February meeting later on Thursday. They discussed upcoming events and other important information.

After the meeting, the Celina FFA played Coldwater FFA in a basketball game! On Friday, the themes were cowboy or western, Drive Your Tractor to School, and Hat Day. There were awards to those who participated by driving their tractor to school. We also held our annual Ag-Olympics on Friday at the end of the day. Students were chosen to participate in different events that are related to Agriculture.

10 teachers were chosen to be pied in the face to eat a sardine! It was a fun-filled week that allowed us to celebrate National FFA Week!
