(2-24-24) A Jay County HS student was detained by police Friday morning after it was discovered he had a gun in his possession.

The Alternate Placement Program is an alternative to out-of-school suspension for students and is housed in the former elementary school building located at General Shanks in Portland. The program is being reviewed by school administrators.
