(2-14-24) After 11 years as the Chief of the Coldwater Police Department Jason Miller will resign on February 26th, but will remain on the force. Miller has been with the department for 18 years. The action was approved by the Coldwater Village Council meeting held this week.
Miller started as a patrolman at the Coldwater Department on June of 2006, after being a Morgan County (Ohio) Sheriff’s Department Deputy for almost three years.
Miller was named police chief in February of 2013 replacing Randy Waltmire who retired after he was on medical leave, during Waltmire’s leave he was the interim chief.
No replacement for Miller has been named at this time.
