UPDATED: 3-12-24 —
WOWO has added the Pat Miller Program for one day a week from 12pm to 3pm on Saturdays.

(2-10-24) If you are a frequent listener of talk radio and Ft. Wayne’s WOWO radio you will have noticed a recent change in the afternoon drive (3-6pm). Gone is longtime local host Pat Miller and in steps Casey Hendrickson.
In an email reply to the Outlook on the situation:
Statement From WOWO –
We have expanded Casey Hendrickson’s program to WOWO. And, as Casey has done with his many appearances on WOWO during the past 10+ years, he will continue to bring a mix of local, regional and national issues to the audience on a daily basis. Pat Miller is still part of the WOWO team. Stay tuned.
Thank you,
Jon Zimney
WOWO Program Director
What does stayed tuned mean for Pat Miller?
His last podcast was posted on the WOWO web site on January 5th, so why stop his podcasts?
So who has moved into Pat Miller’s spot?
According to the WOWO web site Hendrickson is based out of South Bend.
After leaving Vegas, Casey joined our sister station, 95.3 MNC, in the South Bend/Elkhart in 2011 and now, he’s expanding his program, “The Burning Truth with Casey Hendrickson” to WOWO Radio.
Zimney on his twitter account is listed as…Program & News Director for News/Talk 95.3 Michiana’s News Channel might be an indication of why the change took place.
The change in afternoon hosts leaves just one local based show hosted by morning drive host -Kayla Blakeslee who is the host of Fort Wayne’s Morning News. FWMN airs from 5AM-9AM, Monday through Friday.
As for Miller still being a part of the team….so is the WOWO ‘world famous fire escape‘ which is just a memory of the past and is no longer a part of the station’s current location. Miller, a strong conservative voice, knew Ft. Wayne and what was listeners wanted to know. His presence in the afternoon will be missed…so much for being local and loyal in the radio world.

I liked Pat Miller and listened to him on the way home from work almost every day lately and off and on before that. I was surprised that one day I turn on WOWO and find a new host on there and no explanation as to why Pat Miller was not the host. I assumed it was a temporary move until I saw this article. I find that odd and maybe distasteful that WOWO would do this without an announcement.
I do have to admit that I do like the new host, maybe more than Pat Miller, but WOWO should have alerted listeners in my opinion.
