(1-17-24) Sharley Blake (38) Willshire, Insurance Fraud (4th degree felony) and 2 Counts of Endangering Children, (1st degree misdemeanor) – was sentenced in Van Wert Common Pleas Courtto up to 6 months at the WORTH Center, 3 years Community Control, 30 days jail at a later date, 100 hours Community Service, seek and maintain employment, mental health and substance abuse assessment and any treatment, ordered to pay restitution, partial appointed counsel fees and court costs.

In June of last year Blake had been indicted by a grand jury on felony charges of aggravated arson insurance fraud and 2 counts of endangering children in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court. The fire took place in August of 2020 at her residence on Clayton Road in Willshire.
