OBITUARY
Ayden Joanathan Rain Moorman, 15, of Wapakoneta, OH, died 1:09 a.m. Tuesday January 9, 2024 at Children’s Medical Center in Columbus, OH.
He was born September 3, 2008 in Lima, OH to Shawn M. and Tina M. (Altenburger) Moorman.
Survivors include:
- father: Shawn Moorman of Wapakoneta, OH
- mother: Tina Moorman of Lima, OH
- siblings: Zoe Moorman, Tryston Moorman, Mikayla Moorman and E.C. Moorman all of Wapakoneta, OH
- paternal grandfather: Steve Moorman of Celina, OH
- aunts and uncles: Ashley Moorman of Celina, OH; Judy Miller of Springfield, OH; Travis Moorman of Celina, OH; Josh Wagner of Indiana.
- girlfriend: Tia McCoy of Wapakoneta, OH
Preceded in death by: grandparents John and Bev Altenburger; grandparents Brenda (Steve) Freymuth
He was a student at Wapakoneta City Schools.
His favorite pastimes included hanging out with his friends, listening to rap music, watching football and looking fine.
Funeral Arrangements
Rites are scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday January 18, 2024 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Pastor Joe Quick will officiate the services.
Visitation 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
As a result of this tragic situation, Ayden’s family was honored to help others in need via organ donation.
