COLUMBUS (1-10-24) — State Representative Susan Manchester (R-Waynesfield) made the following statement in response to the Ohio House overriding Governor DeWine’s veto of House Bill 68, the SAFE Act and Save Women’s Sports Act.
“Governor DeWine’s veto of the SAFE Act and Save Women’s Sports Act harms the overall well-being of our children and damages the integrity of women’s sports. I am proud to support this vital legislation and will continue to protect Ohio’s most vulnerable.”
The veto override of the SAFE Act will now be considered by the Ohio Senate.
