(1-5-24) The first baby of 2024 was born at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys on Wednesday, January 3 at 9:20 am.  Kade Michael Ross weighed 8 lbs, 2 oz and was 20.5 inches long. 

Assisting with the delivery was Whitney Clark, APRN-CNM .   Clark is one of three (3) midwives at Grand Lake Health System who assist with making the labor and delivery extra special.  

Kade’s parents are Morgan Walter and Kobey Ross of St. Marys.  He was welcomed home by big sister Grabriella Ross.  Maternal grandparents are Jason Walter and Robin Walter of St. Marys , and paternal grandparents are and Mike and Sheena Ross of St. Marys.

The New Year’s baby born at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital is presented with a basket of gifts to remember this momentous occasion.
