(1-5-24) Last night at around 16:46 pm Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an area of the Van Wert Mercer County Line Road in Willshire Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash.

A 2004 Chevy Tahoe was traveling eastbound on Van Wert Mercer County Line Rd. near Alspach Rd. when it went off the left side of the roadway, after attempting to correct back onto the roadway it caused the vehicle to overturn and roll approximately one time before coming to a rest on the passenger side of the vehicle.

No Airbags were deployed. All occupants were able to free themselves from the vehicle. No injuries were reported at this time. The driver of the Tahoe, David Hawkins of Celina, was not on the scene.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Hague Towing.
