(12-21-23) Wednesday, December 20th just before 8 p.m. Darke County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the intersection of US Route 127 and Hollansburg-Sampson Road on the reports of crash.

Jernigan was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash and had to be removed from his car, he was transported to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight with suspected serious injuries. McGregor was taken to Wayne Healthcare with non-life-threatening injuries.
This crash is under investigation.
