Today, I am proud to announce that I have filed my petitions with the Board of Elections to run for Ohio State Representative for the 84th District.

The citizens of the 84th district deserve options, when they go to cast their ballot. I am running to ensure that happens and that every constituent has a seat at the table. We need a representative that is more focused on who she can help, rather than what minority community she can target with detrimental legislation.

If elected, I am committed to advancing legislation to resolve Ohio’s Elder Care Crisis, passing HB 285 to require hospitals to establish nursing staffing plans, lower the burden on our nurses, increase quality of care and incentivize retention of nurses in our state, supporting strong unions, increasing funding for PUBLIC education and teacher salaries, collecting needed data on the Ohio EdChoice program, supporting the establishment of an independent, citizen-led redistricting commission, lowering utilities cost through diversification of the power grid and supporting the equality of all Ohio citizens.

I look forward to meeting, interacting and earning the votes of the constituents over the coming year.
