(12-11-23) Nine students from Jay County High School recently competed at the BPA (Business Professionals of America) Regionals. All nine students qualified for the state competition to be held in March.

Detailed results are as follows:

  • Zander Hudson – 1st Graphic Design Promotion and 1st Fundamental Accounting
  • Marisa Gallegos – 1st Presentation Management, 3rd Fundamental Accounting,and 6th Project Management
  • Emily Smith – 1st Digital Communication & Design and 6th Digital Marketing
  • Gavin Clay – 2nd Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications and 5th Financial Math
  • Lexi Kirk – 4th Fundamental Accounting
  • Myra Lopez – 5th Fundamental Word Processing
  • 2nd Place Small Business Management Team (Isabel Castro, Jasmine Esparza, Madison Hambrock, Emily Smith)
  • 2nd Place Financial Analyst Team (Gavin Clay and Lexi Kirk)
  • Madison Hambrock – 7th Medical Terminology, 9th Management, Marketing & Human Resources, and 9th Parliamentary Procedures
