(11-15-23) Four Celina FFA students, Ava Knapke, Kaitlyn Muhlenkamp, Gavin Wagner, and Austin Welling, participated in the District 5 Job Interview CDE at Botkins High School. Each student wrote a cover letter and resume, filled out an application, participated in a mock interview, and wrote a follow-up letter. Ava Knapke participated in the Senior Division where she placed 3rd in the district. Junior, Kaitlyn Muhlenkamp, competed in Division 3 and placed 10th in the district. Gavin Wagner and Austin Welling represented their chapter very well, both placing respectfully in their divisions.

The Celina FFA also sent 7 members to New Knoxville to participate in the Food Science CDE. Each student started by traveling to different rooms to answer different questions about the exam. They had to answer questions regarding calories, food science tools, differences in foods, and differences in smells. Then, the students joined together to work on a group project where they designed an ad for a product. We are so proud of the Celina FFA and all of their hard work and dedication throughout this CDE!
