(11-13-23) So why did Todd J. Bruseau (48) throw a flag pole and break two windows at the Brumback Library in Van Wert early Saturday morning?
Bruseau told Van Wert Police he had thrown the flag through the library window because…
“it had said derogatory things towards Vanna White”
He has been charged with a 5th degree vandalism charge.
Vandalism is defined in Ohio as to “knowingly cause serious physical harm to an occupied structure or any of its contents.” Vandalism is a 5 th degree felony and if convicted the penalties range from up to five years of probation, 6 to 12 months in prison and a fine not to exceed $2,500.
The library was closed on Saturday but reopened today.
