(10-29-23) MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Mansfield Division of Police is investigating after two teenagers were killed and four teens were injured following a shooting at a party.
Police say the shooting happened on Friday at around 11:40 p.m. Officers received multiple calls about shots being fired and people running from the nearby area.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found four gunshot wound victims. A 17 and 18-year-old were found dead inside the home and two other teens were transported to the hospital.
Additional gunshot wound victim was taken to the ER to a local hospital in a personal vehicle and it was learned that one of them had been shot. The four felonious assault victims ranged in ages from 14-19 years old.
According to witnesses a group of subjects fled the scene on foot and in vehicles and no one was able to give a good description of the suspect or suspects or any vehicles.
The shooting is being investigated currently by the Mansfield Division of Police and the Major Crimes Unit.
