(GRAND LAKE) (10-20-23) – The Lake Improvement Association and Brew Nation will host Grand Lake Chili Cook Off 2023 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Brew Nation, located at 110 S. Main St. in Celina, Ohio. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward lake improvement efforts.

Attendees can sample the Grand Lake region’s best chili, then vote for their favorite. Brew Nation will also have live music and an outstanding selection of cold beverages during the event. It’s just $7 per person.

Those interested in entering the contest can register at Brew Nation or online at LakeImprovement.com through October 21. The entry fee is $25 and cash prizes will be awarded in two categories: judges’ favorites and people’s choice, as follows:
 1st Place: $150
 2nd Place: $100
 3rd Place: $75
 People’s Choice 1: $150
 People’s Choice 2: $75

Contestants are responsible for:
• 2 gallons of chili in a crock pot
• Ladle (bows & spoons will be provided)
• Table (please bring your own)
• Extension cords (please supply)
• List of ingredients (not recipes or measurements)
