(10-2-23) The Celina Kiwanis ended their 2022—2023 activities with the Mr. Potato Head Contest at the county fair. Between 35 and 40 children participated.
At the September 20th meeting, Brad Brookhart was installed as the 2023—2024 president.

The club hosted Kevin Draiss from Our Home. He described programs offered by the resource center such as the Family Crisis Network, which offers assistance to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Their 24/7 crisis helpline is 419 586-1133. RAFT provides supervised visitations in a safe, homelike setting for custody agreements, divorces or separations and emergency custody situations. Call 419 586-4663 option 4 for assistance. Direct Services and Referrals assist with problems like utility shutoffs, eviction notices, and food insecurity. Back-to- School is a a school supply drive for students. Angel Tree provides clothes and toys for children at Christmas. Winter Warmth Day is the distribution day for winter coats and accessories. As one of their service projects, the Celina Kiwanis set out the collection boxes, organize the donations, and assist Draiss on distribution day.
For her last act as club president, Linda Goodwin installed Dale Hart for his second term as Lt. Governor for Division 2.
