(8-30-23) Dayton’s News Center 7′s Taylor Robertson spoke with Patrick De Haan with gasbuddy.com, who said the spike in gas prices is due to one of the largest refineries in the United States and located in Louisiana, having to partially shut down after a shortage tank caught fire.
According to GasBuddy.com two Marysville stations (United Dairy Farmers and Marathon) are selling regular gas at $2.89 a gallon.
In Mercer County St. Henry’s Marathon is selling a gallon of regular for$3.32.
