(7-29-24) The Dan Otten Memorial Scholarship was established after the death of Dan Otten who passed away in 2021 from complications from cancer. He was a former teacher, athletic director, and cross country and track coach for Celina Schools.

He was passionate about his Celina & Bulldog community. One of his last gifts was establishing this scholarship to support three Celina athletes, students to whom he dedicated his life, who have strong personal character, integrity, athletic and academic achievements with strong work ethic and willingness to serve others.

This year, Otten’s family generously awarded five scholarships to the following Celina High School Graduates:

Amelia Lutz, Zoey Aukerman, Raven Harris, Layna Duncan and Amelia Adams.
