(7-19-23) Ashlee Fletcher (38) was convicted Tuesday in the Darke County Common Pleas Court on one count of murder, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse in the death of Cory Fleming.

Fleming was reported missing by his family to the Union City Police Department on August 18, 2022.
His body was discovered by investigators in a shallow grave at a commercial farm in Brown Township on August 20.
Fletcher’s bond was revoked and was ordered to be in the custody of the Darke County Sheriff’s Department until sentencing on September 8 and is presently being held in the Darke County Jail.
In June co-defendant Dean Baker was sentenced to 15 years to life for the murder of Corey Fleming… plus a three-year firearm specification, three years for tampering with evidence plus one year for abuse of a corpse, to be served consecutively.
Baker and Fletcher were taken into custody at a truck stop near Ocala, Florida on August 24, 2022.
