(6-15-23) Yesterday at 448 am Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Convoy Fire responded to a report of a fire in a woods on Dixon Cavett Road in Tully Township.

A vehicle was located in the woods that was on fire. Later investigation revealed that the vehicle was a 2021 Jeep Wrangler that had been reported stolen out of Allen County Indiana.

No other details were available on who owned the vehicle or a suspect in the theft.
