(5-24-23) The members of The University Womens Club of Mercer County are pleased to announce their selections of young women who are receiving scholarship grants totaling $7500 for the 2023 school year.

The two $1,500 Evelyn Meyers scholarships for high school senior girls going into the field of Education were awarded to Coldwater High School’s Lydia Dippold who is planning to attend Bowling Green State University in Early Childhood Education; and Celina High School’s Amelia Adams who is planning to attend Bluffton College with a major of Elementary Education.

The two $1,500 University Womens Club of Mercer County Scholarships for high school senior girls (any field) were awarded to Coldwater High School senior: Kendra Clune and Ft. Recovery High School graduate Abigail Knapke. Kendra will attend BGSU majoring in Graphic Design. Abigail will attend Bowling Green State University majoring in Nursing.

University of Dayton Junior Ally Kaiser from Ft. Recovery
The $1,500 Scholarship for a female COLLEGE Junior going into her Senior year, which requires a GPA above 3.0, an essay, and a college professors recommendation, for 2023, goes to: Ally Kaiser, from Ft. Recovery, OH. Ally will be a senior in the Fall at University of Dayton. She is studying to become a high school English teacher.
