(12-15-22) St. Paul’s Country Church invites you to the Blue Christmas Service on the evening of the Winter Solstice the longest and darkest night of the year, Wednesday, December 21, 2022. The candlelight service will begin at 6:30 PM.
The traditional Blue Christmas Service is celebrated in many churches and supports those who are not so cheerful during the Christmas Holidays.
All are welcome, especially those struggling to find joy in the holidays. Reasons for feeling blue can be: a death; dealing with divorce or separation; job loss; coping with cancer or other illness; or other life situations that make you sad and unable to celebrate the joys of Christmas, please join St. Paul’s for an evening of prayerful attention to your needs. The service will create a sacred and accepting place to reflect on God and the story of the birth of His Son, Jesus, on Christmas, as well as the joy of Jesus resurrection.
Pastor Mike Husted will lead this service, which is open to the community, and all people, grieving or not.
