(5-27-22) The members of The , of Mercer County are pleased to announce their selections of young women who are receiving scholarship grants totaling $7500 for the 2022 school year.

The two $1,500 UWC – Evelyn Meyers scholarships for high school senior girls going into the field of Education were awarded to Coldwater High School’s Rachel Penno who is planning to attend Ohio Northern University in Early Childhood Education & Special Education; and Parkway High School’s Danielle Huff who is planning to attend University of Findlay with a double major of Early Childhood Education and Psychology.
The two $1,500 University Womens Club of Mercer County Scholarships for high school senior girls (any field) were awarded to the two following Coldwater High School seniors: Natalie Larkin and Ashlyn Koester. Natalie will attend Purdue University at Ft. Wayne, IN majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Ashlyn will attend Bowling Green State University majoring in Medical Laboratory Science.
The $1,500 Scholarship for a female COLLEGE Junior going into her Senior year, which requires a GPA above 3.0, an essay, and a college professors recommendation, for 2022, goes to: Kenzie Conn, from Celina, OH. Kenzie will be a senior in the Fall at Valparasio University in Valparasio, Indiana, and is majoring in Civil Engineering.
