(10-15-21) The members of University Women’s Club of Mercer County recently donated three new memorial books to the Mercer
County Library collection. Member and former officer Lorraine Knapke passed away this summer and was an avid traveler, having been to all 50 states. Two books: Travel North America and Road Trip USA were presented in her memory.

Member Helen James, also passed away this summer. She loved to read, and a fiction mystery, Murder Most Fowl, was selected in her memory. These books have plates in the front memorializing these two UWC members. The books are in circulation and one can inquire at the front desk of the library.

Shown above is UWC president Cora McCalla presenting the books to Mercer County Library adult services manager, Connie Gray.
