(4-20-21) William Fetters (47) was arrested in downtown Celina Monday morning. after being identified by Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies. Fetters, a registered sex offender, was found to be out of compliance for not registering his address as required.

During the stop deputies found that Fetters was in possession of methamphetamine and a glass pipe.

He is being charged with –

  • Failure to Provide Change of Address – 3rd degree felony
  • Possession of Drugs – 5th degree felony
  • Illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia – 4th degree misdemeanor

Fetters was taken to the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility where he is being held with no bond. He is waiting for a hearing date in Celina Municipal Court.

Additional charges are expected in this case after a review by the County Prosecutor’s office.
