Stephenson and Ford

(3-30-21) Gold Award Girl Scouts are the dreamers and the doers who take “make the world a better place” to the next level. The Girl Scout Gold Award is the mark of the truly remarkable—proof that not only can she make a difference, but that she already has according the Girl Scout web site.

Kenzie Stephenson’’s Gold Award is a bus stop for Shanes Park located in Rockford. This project will be a permanent
improvement to the park and provide shelter for students waiting on the bus.

Audrey Ford’’s Gold Award is a Free Little Library also to be located at Shanes Park in Rockford. This project will be a
permanent improvement and provide free reading materials to those visiting the park. No need to return your book or
magazine. – The Free Little Library will be maintained by the Rockford Carnegie Library for years to come.
