(3-8-21) Scott Albers (45) of Celina has been charged with a 1st Degree Misdemeanor count of domestic violence after allegedly assaulting his wife this past weekend.

The complaint filed in Celina Municipal Court accused Albers of picking up his wife, on or about March 5th, and throwing her across the kitchen, causing her to strike her head on a kitchen cabinet and to receive a large gash to the back of her head. She required medical treatment and received numerous staples to close the injury….along several other bruises, abrasions and cuts during the assault.

Albers is free on bond and will have a pre-trial hearing on March 23rd.

A temporary protection order has been issued as well.
