CELINA- As of July 17, 2020, the Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports today’s 17 new confirmed cases mark the highest daily new case total Mercer County has seen since Mid-May. The majority of the increased cases in Mid-May can be linked to The Gardens of St. Henry & Cooper Farms’ St. Henry Processing Plant outbreaks. The cases announced today are not tied to these outbreaks, and are spread throughout the county. This emphasizes the fact that COVID-19 is community spread and is affecting all demographics.
