UPDATED – At a hearing today in Celina Municipal Court Unrealistic Ideas LLC ‘s motion was denied. No word yet if their attorneys will appeal the ruling.
(5-3-19) Actor Mark Wahlberg and Unrealistic Ideas LLC has filed a motion in Celina Municipal Court to film and have access to the upcoming trial of Jeff Rasawehr...the case is scheduled to be heard later this month. Rasawehr operates the web site countycoverup.com that tackles issues related to law enforcement issues and concerns in Mercer County.
The papers were filed on Wednesday, May 1st to both Mercer County Prosecutor Matt Fox and Celina Municipal Court.
In 2018 Mark Wahlberg and longtime producing partner Stephen Levinson teamed up with former Wahlburgers executive producer Archie Gips to form Unrealistic Ideas LLC, a full-service production company for non-scripted content.
The company already has several projects that they are working on to produce for various networks and cable tv stations.

We understand that Judge Faulkner has denied the petition to film. ?!? Can you say first amendment violation?? We are looking for an appeal from Wahlberg’s company. I wonder if the Judge relied heavily on the advice of Persecutor Fox. Fox’s prints seem to be all over the corruption in the Mercer County legal system. Hopefully he and his puppets are on their way out!

Amen. What are you ‘officials’ hiding? If you’re squeaky clean you wouldn’t push to stop the recording of the trial and violate the FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS. I know first hand two issues some of you are covering up. And…I fully exercise my First Amendment and God given rights. 😉

I believe very strongly in the first amendment, but denying a film company the right to bring movie cameras into an actual courtroom to film a case as the basis of a TV show or movie is not a violation of anyone’s first amendment rights.
Anyone from the public or from the film company is permitted to attend the trial and watch all proceedings.

I know of one person that was arrested for a crime that was never committed, but would not be dropped. Instead listed as a felon and had to sign papers that this person would not sue children services for false charges. Lawyer told me he would set presidence and they would have to retry everyone with similar cases and they would never do it. How many more are innocent? Two? Twenty? Two hundred? Two thousand? Two hundred thousand?

Too many innocent people are felons, because our system is broken. Erroneous arrests. Having to sign agreements to not sue government agencies for those agencies to drop charges, but labeled felons after they get signatures saying charges will be dropped if they’re not sued! Was told charges had to continue, to not set presidence after getting the signatures that they would not sue the government agencies. Yet they got the signature saying they would not sue and agencies were supposed to drop all charges, but didn’t. How many innocent people are sitting in prison, jail, or their life ruined by erroneous arrests?
